CaptainForm is now one year old and we want to thank you for being part of our amazing journey! It’s been an exciting year since launching on 5th November 2015 and we want to thank our guest authors, users, writers and friends from the WordPress community who have brought their insights on several topics. In addition, we’ve found out that the WordPress community is great and we’re happy to be part of it.
To briefly overview what has been achieved in one year since launching, I will start by saying that CaptainForm became a trustworthy and popular WordPress form plugin.
Some of the last year’s highlights include features such as centralized form management, and the possibility for users to have submissions on our servers or on their own servers.
A total number of 20.856 forms have been created with our plugin so far and out of all the forms created, 62.5% have received submissions. Another great thing that we achieved is the 7.11% average conversion rate from free to paid users, whereas the average rate in our industry and for our business model is between 2-4%.
We care about our customers – the best proof is our average response time to support tickets – 1.55h by email (weekends included) and 40s by live chat.
Our team has focused on honest feedback in order to understand what we do well and what needs improvement. Thus, CaptainForm was featured in many publications, including Huffington Post, Entrepreneur and Forbes.
Moreover, we established several partnerships, received more valuable feedback and discovered more about the WordPress community by attending six WordCamps. Thus, we had the great opportunity to learn many useful things pretty fast.
Regarding the Plugin Directory, we are proud to have a 4.7 rating out of 5 – a confirmation that users trust our plugin and recommend it.
As 51.3% of our users are small business owners and 37.6% are digital agencies, this gives us valuable insights into what they need from our plugin and what it should be improved further.
From the day we launched CaptainForm, all we ever wanted was to provide an advanced, extremely useful and easy to use WordPress form plugin. One year later, we have great things to celebrate that wouldn’t have been possible without our awesome team and those who were involved in any way in our project.
Thank you all again for your help and we look forward to celebrating another year with you!
