August is packed with WordPress community events and conferences, and we’re here to tell you about them. Check out details about these 6 WordCamps from all around the world taking place this month. Which ones are you attending?

August 17th-19th  WordCamp for Publishers: Denver, USA #wcpublishers

The first ever WordCamp for Publishers will be held in Denver, Colorado. It’s dedicated to bringing together people who use WordPress to manage any kind of publications. As an attendee you will learn the latest practices for in digital publishing in various areas.

The WordCamp will be held at the offices of The Denver Post, a publication running on WordPress. The conference will be split in 2 days, each day ending with a party a one of the many breweries found in Denver.

The lineup consists of speakers working with journalists and publications. They will hold workshops on various WordPress topics such as publishing workflows, distribution methods censorship, modular layout design and much more.

 

 

 

August 26th-27th WordCamp Denver #wcdenver

Wait, what? Didn’t we just cover WordCamp Denver above?

WordCamp Denver is separate from WordCamp for Publishers: Denver. This might be a little confusing, but they are different events on different dates, both in the same amazing city.

WordCamp Denver is a classic WordCamp conference, open for all WordPress enthusiasts from web designers and developers to bloggers and business owners. The conference will be held at the University of Denver. Some of the speakers include Tracy Malone, Davide Hayes and Zac Gordon

 

 

August 18th-20th WordCamp Brighton 2017 #WCBTN

WordCamp Brighton takes place at The Old Market (locally known as TOM), a venue for quality live theatre plays. WCB will take 3 days, in which various workshops, talks, a special contribution day and after parties. Awesome speakers such as Alex Denning, Andy Parker, David Lockie and Davide Casali will talk about UX design, product design, digital marketing and various technical talks.

 

 

August 19th WordCamp Lehigh Valley, PA #WCLVPA

What started as small meetings at a local co-work space to discuss working with WordPress turned into a WordCamp opened for everyone to learn and share. Taking place at Northampton Community College, this year’s edition will take place 1 day, and will have a roster of 12 speakers. Meet people awesome WordPress enthusiasts like Nicole Kohler, Reed Gustow, Paul Taubman and Joe Casabona

 

 

August 19th WordCamp Delhi

Get to know the WordPress community of India in the WordCamp held in the vibrant capital of New Delhi. The event will be a full-day conference with talks covering technical , business and legal topics that relate to WordPress.

The WordCamp will take place in NDMC Convention center in the heart of New Delhi. Some of the speakers present are Rahul Bansal, the only WordPress VIP partner in Asia, Amit Kumar Singh and Ankur Raheja

August 26th-27th Wordcamp Omaha #WordCampOMA

The next WordCamp on the list is bringing it back to the US, specifically in Omaha, Nebraska. The event will be spread on 2 days and has a strong roster of speakers. Some of the people presenting are Ben Moore, Josh Collinsworth and Rebecca Haden. Some of the topics discussed include designing wordpress sites, plugin development and way to use content marketing to promote your WordPress site.

 

 

August 26th WordCamp Grand Rapids #WCGR

Wrapping up the August schedule of events is WordCamp Grand Rapids. Get together with the WordPress community in Michigan and attent talks about data processing, content creation , web development and design. Meet speakers like Andy Keson, Brian Richards and Sara Dunn and have a great time.
