Sunday the 29th will be a half-day of workshops, and the regular two-track conference will happen on Saturday, July 28th.
Here are some of the main speakers for this event:
Erin Flynn – teaches freelance web designers how to take back control of their businesses (and lives!). After starting her own freelance web design business in 2012, Erin realized that most web designers were disorganized and struggling to make their businesses more profitable without adding to their workload. Hitting that “next level” just wasn’t happening. After getting her own systems in order and creating raving fans out of her clients, Erin knew she had to help other designers do the same. Today, she’s helped over 10,000 students do everything from plan and build a basic website, to organize their processes, to restructure their work days so that they can FINALLY take a weekend off without guilt.
Christine Laikind – Christine Laikind has been self employed for over 15 years as a entrepreneur, as marketing strategist, graphic designer and website designer. Born deaf, mainstreamed at early age. While living in the hearing world, am amused how people take sound for granted.
Mike Selander – Mike landed his current job after a run-in with a bunch of the Human Made team at WordCamp London in 2016. Now working there as a Senior Full-stack Developer, his days involve pulling apart project specs and transforming stories into optimized web-apps. Away from the keyboard, he’ll be kayaking, planning his next nomadic year or drooling over cars.
Robert Rowley – Robert is the Directory of Security and Privacy for Pagely. With over 10 years experience in the WordPress hosting and security fields, he has been on the front lines during all of the major attacks against WordPress sites. As a hobby (aside from brewing beer) he does security research in many fields including WordPress and WordPress plugins
Attendees will get a great deal, as always, with a free lunch included on the 28th, as well as an afterparty.
